Tuna-Spinach Wrap

So I have been getting bored with the same ole thing. I wanted to try something new. I decided to create a Tuna-Spinach Wrap. It was really easy to prepare and very filling. I ate this for lunch today and my taste buds are so happy. Please see below and hopefully you will enjoy this as much as I did.

What you will need:

Tuna (I used the single packets you can purchase from your local grocery store)

Handful of Spinach

Hummus

Salsa or Pico

Flatbread Wrap

So all i did was spread the wrap with hummus, lay the spinach on top, add the mound of tuna, and sprinkle with salsa. I folded the wrap together and enjoyed my satisfying lunch. It was just that easy!!

My heathier me plans seem to be working. I woke up bright and early this morning and exercized and ate a healthy breaking with lots of water. I feel so good right now. I mean the workout has made me sore over my entire body, but I feel good about my future. I know i will reach my goal of a healthier, happier, slimmer me. So this morning for breakfast I ate some scrambled eggs with tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. I had a piece of wheat toast on the side and a tall glass of water. I could have eaten more but I feel pretty satisfied. For lunch, I plan one eating a spinich salad with vinegar and oil. Gooooo Me!!!

 

Today was a good day

Well I am on this healthier me journey and that means better choices in eating and every day life. I have to admit, I love snacking and this is killing me!!! I did good today though. I ate my three moderately healthy meals and I stayed away from the not so healthy snacks. I want a cookie, some chips, or even a piece of candy right now but I shall be strong…….Whew!!

New Year, Healthier Me

Hey out there it’s me. It’s been a while since I posted on my blog. A lot of things have been going through my mind and I have a lot of goals I have yet to accomplish. These things have followed from last year into 2013. My main goal is to focus on a healthier me. Now, I am not trying to make any unrealistic goals here. I am just trying to make better life choices. First of all, I need to quit all of this snacking. I eat snacks almost all day long. Sometimes I don’t even eat a full meal because I am too busy snacking. This is not good. This year I plan on cutting back on the snacking and making better choices with what I eat. I plan on drinking more water and detoxing my body. In the process, I hope to lose some weight but if I don’t, I won’t be upset. The next thing I am going to do this year is grow my hair out. Currently I have shaved sides as well as a tapered back cut. I want to regrow my hair using the natural hair tool I have learned on my journey. I want to focus on healthy hair and not so much on wild and crazy styles. We shall see…..Until next time divas and divos. Smooches!!
